About the Full Marathon
The Eau Claire Marathon is a USATF certified, Boston Marathon qualifying race. In 2016, 35 Eau Claire Marathon runners qualified for the Boston Marathon. All Races start and finish in Carson Park, a 134 acre peninsula surrounded by Half Moon Lake. As you exit the park, you will cross the first of 11 bridges. Making your way through our city, you'll enjoy the beauty and tranquility of both the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers as well as our many parks.
The Eau Claire community embraces and welcomes all runners with bands, DJ's, and cheer stations! We are excited to show off our 11 bridges, the historical third Ward neighborhood, a tour through the heart of the newly designed UWEC Commons, and finally, a trip down the famous Water Street as we head toward the finish line. Runners will have six hours to complete the race.
Awards will be handed out in Carson Park following the race. View Last Year's Results.
