EAU CLAIRE MARATHON - 10K

You asked for this distance! We answered! One of our most frequent requests has been for a 10K race, here it is!
Our 10K course will stick mainly to Eau Claire’s bike trail system, crossing the High Bridge, running through Owen Park and along the Chippewa River. Without leaving the Phoenix Park area, family, friends and community members can easily cheer runners on at the start, when they come down the trail along First Ave (mile 1.5) and as they finish in Phoenix Park.
All participants will receive their race shirt at packet pick-up. Upon completion, runners will receive a finisher’s medal to commemorate their accomplishment at the Eau Claire Marathon 10K Run/Walk.
Overall and age group awards will be presented by Market & Johnson.

Race changes and transfer fees: Races changes and transfers will be available until April 10, 2024. Race changes (upgrades and downgrades) will be charged $10, plus the price difference for upgrades. Transfers will be charged $15 for same-distance transfers (marathon to marathon, half marathon to half marathon, or 5k to 5k.)
Are you interested in the G-EAU BIGGER challenge? If so, join us Saturday night for the 10K & 5K and come back on Sunday for the Marathon, Half Marathon or Four Person Marathon Relay. That’s right THREE races over TWO days!

*You must be able to finish the 10K within 1 hour 20 minutes to get to the start line of the 5K
Saturday, April 27th - 6:30 PM Eau Claire Marathon 5K
then (one of the following)……
Sunday, April 28th - 7:00 AM Eau Claire Marathon
Sunday, April 28th - 7:15 AM Eau Claire Four Person Marathon Relay
Sunday, April 28th - 8:30 AM Eau Claire Half Marathon

Rules of the Race
Strollers are allowed on the 10K. Runners of any age may participate in the Eau Claire 10K.
No unofficial pacers or bikers are allowed on course, anyone running must be a registered participant.
Headphones during the race are allowed in accordance to rule changes by the USTAF. Participants who choose to wear headphones are expected to be aware of the changing road/race conditions as well as fellow runners.
Any runner who is felt to be posing a safety concern to other runners or themselves may be removed from the race at the discretion of the Race Directors.
Pets and roller blades are prohibited on the course. Non-race participants will not be allowed in the runner's finish area.
