At the Eau Claire Marathon, our support goes beyond race day—providing runners with meaningful resources to train smarter and arrive at the start line confident.

This masterclass series is designed to help you know exactly how to fuel during training long runs in preparation for race day whether you're running a half or full marathon

During each 60-minute session, the following topics will be covered:

Session 1: Pre-run fuel & recovery nutrition - Sunday, January 25th at 8:00 PM

  • What, when & how much to eat before your run

  • What to eat the night before your long run

  • Post-run nutrition to recover faster after your run

  • Nutritional considerations for master runners over 40

Session 2: Fueling & hydrating during your long run - Sunday, February 15th at 8:00 PM

  • How to create your unique long run & race day fueling strategy including what to eat & drink, when to fuel, and how much you need

  • Understand your exact fluid & electrolyte needs

  • Tips for prevent stomach problems, muscle cramps, nausea, & headaches 

  • Examples of long run & race day fueling plans

 Session 3: Carb loading & Race day fueling strategy - Sunday, April 12th at 8:00 PM

  • How to properly carbohydrate load to avoid "hitting the wall" on race day

  • What & when to eat race day morning

  • Fueling logistics of race day (how to carry fluids/gels

All classes via Zoom. Link will be sent to all registered runners the morning of the session.

She shows her clients how to optimize their performance and energy while embracing their favorite foods.
