“I followed all the advice from your masterclasses regarding hydration, nutrition, and pre- and post-race preparation. This included carb loading for three days prior to the marathon and doubling the number of gels I used compared to my previous plan (which I worked up to during training).
During the marathon, I felt better than expected and never hit the wall. While my quads tightened slightly, they never fully cramped, and I feel remarkably normal just two and a half days post-race. I averaged 27 seconds per mile faster than my longest training run (22 miles) and felt better than ever.

“I just wanted to say thank you for the great nutrition webinars! I attended the first two and just didn't have time to catch the third but wished I had because of all of the great tips I received in the first two. Being over 50, I'd really been struggling with this part of my training. After the first webinar, I started drinking protein smoothies and taking in more protein overall, I also paid closer attention to my hydration, and worked on training my GI during my long runs.
The results were huge. This was my best marathon yet, and I've never felt so strong at the finish. Not only did I PR (got third in my age group at ECM), but I got a very solid BQ time as well.

“I saw your carbo loading masterclass, and used your ideas for my last long training run as well as the half marathon race. I experienced steady energy levels throughout each run, avoided the wall, and had no GI issues at all. Previously, I would only carbo load for dinner the evening before and would not have anything for breakfast, but this strategy worked much better. I will continue to do this for all my long runs.
