From chasing a Boston Qualifier to walking your first 10K, pushing a stroller, finishing with a Pride flag, racing with a disability, or crossing the finish line as the final participant—we’re committed to creating a race weekend where everyone feels welcome, supported, and celebrated.
Rainb-EAU Mile
Runners who wish to finish strong with a Pride flag in hand can grab one as they pass by this cheer zone.
Everyone is invited to join the celebration and cheer on runners as they make their way toward the finish line. Come bring the energy, encouragement, and plenty of ECM spirit!

The Back of the Pack Party is our commitment to celebrating every runner who crosses the finish line, no matter their pace. Because grit, perseverance, and heart deserve just as much recognition as fast times.
Adaptive & Accessible Racing
The Eau Claire Marathon is proud to provide athletes with disabilities the opportunity to participate in our events. Through our partnership with the Trail Blazers program, participants who need additional support can experience the excitement of crossing an Eau Claire Marathon finish line!

Meet Our ECM Sweepers
No one finishes last! Sweepers ensure that everyone receives support and no one is left behind. They are essential for maintaining morale and providing encouragement to participants, especially those who might be struggling in the later stages of the race.
ECM offers sweepers for our full marathon, half marathon and 10K races - look for them in our start corral!
Family Friendly Racing
We are on a mission to empower mothers by removing barriers that hold them back.
The Sonnentag Center, hosts of the Expo 5K/10K finish line, has a private lactation space, diaper changing stations, and family restrooms.
We welcome strollers in our 5K & 10K races.
Cheri Uelmen’s Fantastically Fun Kids’ Run is suitable for children from 0-12 years old.
The FAMILY ZONE (Saturday & Sunday) keeps kids entertained while they wait to cheer on their favorite runners.
Competition for Everyone
We are proud to offer race divisions and awards for male, female, and non-binary participants.
Participants may register for and participate in the division that is consistent with their gender and lived experience.
