The Eau Claire Marathon is a Boston Qualifying course certified by the USATF! Our course starts and finishes in Eau Claire’s Downtown District focusing on the beauty of our city. Throughout the 26.2 miles, you will cross eight bridges going over the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers. The fast second half includes the Blugold mile coming through UW-Eau Claire’s lower campus.
Our full marathon course is very spectator-friendly. Without leaving the Phoenix Park area, family, friends and community members can easily cheer runners on at the start, on the loop back (miles 2.5-4), on N Barstow Street (check out the Barstow Block Party at mile 23.5) and as they finish on Graham Avenue.
Upon completion, runners will receive a finisher’s medal to commemorate their accomplishment at the Eau Claire Marathon.
-
Overall and age group awards will be presented by Market & Johnson. Awards are given to the overall winner (male, female, and non-binary) along with the top three finishers (male and female) in each age group. $500 Cash Prize for top Male & Female Winners.
There is not a formal awards ceremony, if you think you won an award, check in with the awards area.
