YES!!!! But, they need to be registered by adding on the dog run registration at the end of your 5K registration. If you are already registered and would like to add registration for your dog, please visit your participant profile (accessed through registration confirmation email) or the Eau Claire Marathon Storefront to purchase the furry f-EAU-rth registration.

If your child is riding along and would like race swag and/or a medal at the finish line, please register them individually. If they do NOT want race swag and/or a medal, you do NOT have the register them.
If they are registered for the kids’ run, they will receive their own race packet and medal, they are also welcome to ride in the stroller for the 5K without an additional registration, please just ensure they only take their medal after the kids’ run.

UWEC Campus, on Park Avenue in front of Hibbard Hall
Join us for an unforgettable 4th of July experience! Bring your friends and family and don’t forget to wear your red, white & blue to celebrate freedom, community, and the spirit of America!
This event will also feature a quarter mile Kids’ fun run and a special start for 5K participants who would like to run or walk with their furry friends!
Bring your four-legged friend and join us for the Furry f-EAU-rth, part of the f-EAU-rth of July 5K!
All pups registered for the Furry f-EAU-rth will receive an ECM collar as well as a f-EAU-rth of July popsicle medal! All furry participants need to be registered, a $5 add on during your 5K registration.
🐾 Furry f-EAU-rth Guidelines for Safety & Fun:
✅ Well-behaved dogs comfortable around crowds and other dogs only.
✅ Keep your dog on a non-retractable leash (shorter than six feet).
✅ Clean up after your pup – bags will be available.
✅ One dog per person to ensure a safe experience.
✅ Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations.
🚫 No dogs allowed inside facilities.
