Eau Claire Marathon named Best Marathon In Wisconsin by RaceRaves
The runners have spoken! The Eau Claire Marathon has defended our title as the top marathon in Wisconsin according to race participants. This honor follows the event’s recognition as the top half marathon in Wisconsin in 2024, further cementing Eau Claire’s reputation as a premier running destination.
RaceRaves, the premier race finder and reviews community for runners and endurance athletes, has announced the winners of its 2025 “Runners Choice: Best Marathons in the U.S.” poll. The top marathon in each state was selected based on votes, ratings, and reviews from runners across the country on RaceRaves.com.
The comprehensive guide serves as a go-to resource for both new and experienced runners looking to build their ultimate marathon wish list.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Eau Claire Marathon, taking place May 2–3, 2026. The weekend welcomes runners of all ages and abilities with events ranging from the full marathon to the half marathon, 5K, and a fun kids’ obstacle run. There is a price increase on October 31st at 11:59 P.M.
